Almost a contradiction in terms, but, by consulting with our friends at Reynolds tubing in Birmingham England, we have developed a lightweight frame which is virtually as strong as the bombproof 666X... and lighter.
The Identiti 666R features Premium quality Double Butted Reynolds 853 main tubes, and a threaded Euro BB type BB.
This devil is both strong and fast.

What's in a number ?;
Reynolds introduced their 853 material in1995. The strength to weight ratio of 853 is equal to that of quality titanium frames. Normal chrome molybdenum steel will lose strength in the joints after the heat has been applied, 853 INCREASES in strength as the frame cools. This unique air hardening property of Reynolds 853 provides additional stiffness through reduced microyielding at the joints, allowing stiffer frames with excellent fatigue strength (when compared to standard chrome molybdenum) and excellent ride quality.

Inflexible flexibility;
By using the original Identiti Adjustable Dropout System, this premium 853 Devil can be run with derailleur gears, hub gears or Single Speed, with QR skewers or nutted axles, with Disc brakes or Vs, 24" or 26" wheels... in any combination...
Also, optional S24 ADS dropouts, which are 24" specific super short dropout... giving sub 15" chainstays...
To shave some extra grams, we've opted to use replaceable, lighter weight, CNC alloy ADS dropouts in place of the heavier Cr-Mo originals and a threaded Euro style BB shell.
To keep things simple, we have specified a Straight forward, BMX style 'no-flare' ring re-enforced 1 1/8" headtube.
