Trek is a privately held corporation that still resides in Waterloo, the small town in South-eastern Wisconsin where in 1976 five employees started making hand-built bicycle frames in an old wooden barn.

The UK office was started in 1989 supplying bikes to a small number of Independent bicycle retailers throughout the UK, The Dealer network today has grown to 325 authorised outlets. The Uk office is situated in Milton Keynes and presently employs 30 members of staff.
