Hardie Bikes is a specialist cycle shop, which is owned and run by Craig Hardie and Bill Hardie. We are a family run business that aims to promote cycling both for recreational and competitive purposes. Our main aim is to get people cycling and offer them to best advise to suit their needs – whether it is for children, leisure, commuting or competion.
We offer a wide range of bicycles and accessories and are official TREK and Dawes dealers – we offer quality products together with exceptional advise and service which is second to none. This service and expertise has been recognised by achieving Shimano Service Centre status.
Craig has been involved in competitive cycling for over twenty years and has raced in all types of cycling disciplines such as road racing, cyclo-cross, and track and has won medals in MTB cross country MTB downhill and BMX – he has won the title of Scottish Mountain Bike Champion on two occasions and also been Cyclo-Cross Champion.
Throughout his cycling career Craig has been infamous for his care and servicing of his own bikes and this has been one of the main focus for setting up Hardie Bikes – Craig is expert in all types of repairs and services – even in very specialist fields. Craig is also keen to give advice to new and novice cyclists and get them on the road or off-road safely with the right bike, which fits them correctly, and the right accessories.
